Drink regularly, not only when thirsty

Regular hydration supports concentration, decision-making and safe performance during machining, welding and site execution.

Why quarry equipment wears fast

Abrasive stone, shock loads, dust and heat work together against crushers, screens and conveyors. Wear parts are expected to be replaced, but the parts around them, such as shafts, housings, frames and chutes, also need regular attention.

Common repair work

  • Crusher shafts, bushes and bearing housings
  • Hard-facing and rebuilding of worn surfaces
  • Chutes, hoppers and liners
  • Screen frames and cracked structural members
  • Conveyor pulleys, rollers and support steel

Plan repairs around shutdowns

The fastest repair is the one prepared in advance. Record measurements of parts that are wearing, keep drawings of critical spares, and agree the scope with the workshop before the shutdown so material can be ready when the part arrives.

Welding and machining together

Many quarry repairs combine structural welding with machining, for example rebuilding a housing and then boring it back to size. Keeping both in one workshop avoids moving parts between suppliers and reduces the risk of misalignment.

Starting a repair enquiry

Send photos, the equipment make and model, the dimensions of worn areas and your target completion date. For site work, include access details and any permits required at the quarry.
